Email support@smartkarobaar.com with the subject “Account deletion request”, from the address you signed up with, and say that you want the account deleted. We handle these by hand within 7 business days and may ask one question to confirm the request is yours. We will not act on a request from a different address.

If your app version shows a Delete account option under More → Profile or Security settings, you can also start deletion there — the result and timelines on this page are the same either way.

Your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. Until then you can keep using the app normally, and you can cancel the request any time by writing to us from the same address. You don't need to do anything to let it complete. Once it runs, deletion cannot be undone.

After the 30 days, deletion removes: your holdings, transactions and portfolio profiles; trade-journal entries and dividend confirmations; watchlists and screener presets; price alerts and reminders; in-app notifications and preferences; CSV-imported holdings; and your sign-in (email replaced with a placeholder, tokens revoked, signed out everywhere).

Your email, for 180 days in normalised form, only to stop the same address opening a new account in that time. One churn record: a one-way hash of your user ID, sign-up and deletion dates, active days, and counts of holdings, watchlist entries and alerts — no email, name or symbols. Diagnostics already collected age out under our providers' retention settings.

If you want anything above removed sooner, write to us from your account's address and we will remove it by hand. Messages you posted in group chats may remain visible without your name — ask us and we will remove those too.

Not with the same email for 180 days after you ask to delete. After that, yes — and the new account starts empty. Your old portfolios, journal and alerts cannot be restored.

Deletion cannot be undone once it runs. The 30 days let you cancel a deletion you regret — for example, if someone else requested it or you simply changed your mind.
